Hiring Now: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP/CFY) | Chicago, IL
Soliant Education is working with a school district in Chicago, Illinois to fill a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opening for the 2026-2027 school year. This onsite position offers an excellent opportunity to support elementary students in their communication development while collaborating with a dedicated team of educators and support professionals.
This opportunity is open to both experienced Speech-Language Pathologists and Clinical Fellows (CFYs) looking to begin their careers in a school-based setting.
Position Highlights

  • Location: Chicago, IL
  • Assignment: 2026-2027 School Year
  • Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week
  • Setting: Onsite
  • Grade Level: Elementary School
  • Employment Classification: W-2
  • Pay Range: $45-$60 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Role Responsibilities
  • Deliver speech and language services to students with identified needs
  • Administer evaluations, assessments, and screenings
  • Create and implement individualized therapy programs and IEP goals
  • Monitor student performance and document progress toward objectives
  • Partner with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning and decision-making
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Illinois SLP license or eligibility for licensure
  • New graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship are encouraged to apply
  • Ability to satisfy all district and state employment requirements
