Job description

Seeking Drivers in the Boston area!!!!

Job duties:

- Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including flatbeds, dump trucks, and tractor-trailers
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers

Experience:

- Minimum of 1 year of safe driving experience

Skills:

- Valid commercial driver's license (DOT/CDL) or Valid state drivers license
- Ability to safely operate various types of trucks and trailers
- Proficient in route planning and navigation using GPS or maps
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 26,001 (CDL)
  • 10,001-26,000 lbs. (DOT)
  • Must have a valid Driver's license in the state in which you reside.
  • Must have had the license for more than one year.
  • Can sufficiently read and speak the English language.
  • Can safely operate the type of equipment he/she chooses to drive.
  • Be in good health and physically able to perform all duties as a driver.
  • Ability to complete condition reports and perform pre-trip/ post-trip inspections.
  • Clean MVR – We will run a Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Must be able to utilize a smart phone.

  • No conviction for any of the following serious offenses in the past five years
  • Driving under the influence of alcohol
  • Driving under the influence of a controlled substance
  • Leaving scene of accident
  • Excessive speeding (15mph or more above posted speed limit)
  • Reckless/Negligent Driving
  • Commission of a felony using a motor vehicle
  • Driving with a suspended, revoked, or invalid license
  • Fleeing a police officer
  • Vehicle theft
  • More than one moving violation with one at fault accident (or) More than two moving violations with no at fault accident in the past 3 years
  • Stop sign and traffic signal violation.
  • Minor speeding (0-14 mph above the posted speed)
  • Failure to wear a seat belt.
  • Improper passing, improper lane change, improper backing, following too closely, improper turns.
  • Failure to signal, failure to yield, failure to observe a funeral procession.
  • Registration violation
