Service Delivery Associate/Lockbox Processing Clerk

Chicago, Illinois, United States

This full-time position is ideal for someone with 1+ years of relevant experience looking for a stable place to work, learn, and develop. Schedule: This position supports a 24x7 day operation, which might include weekends

Key Responsibilities

1. Mail Processing: Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail according to predefined procedures. Ensure all mail is processed promptly and accurately.

2. Scanning and Imaging: Operate scanning equipment to capture images of checks, payment coupons, and other documents. Verify the quality and clarity of scanned images, making adjustments as necessary.

3. Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure all items are processed correctly. Report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor promptly.

4. Compliance and Security: Adhere to company policies and procedures related to lockbox processing. Maintain the confidentiality and security of all processed information.

5. Production and Quality Standards: Meet or exceed production and quality standards set by the company. Continuously monitor and improve personal performance to achieve these standards. Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

โ€ข High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in a related field is a plus.

โ€ข Previous experience in a lockbox or payment processing environment is preferred.

โ€ข Proficiency in operating scanning equipment and related software.

โ€ข Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

โ€ข Good organizational and time-management skills.

โ€ข Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

โ€ข Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

โ€ข Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

Physical Requirements

โ€ข Ability to lift and move mail trays and packages up to 40+ pounds.

โ€ข Prolonged periods of sitting or standing while performing tasks.

โ€ข Manual dexterity required for operating scanning equipment and handling documents.
