Key Responsibilities May Include:

  • Lead and be accountable for the health and safety of all employees, contractors, and visitors, ensuring strict adherence to corporate and legislative requirements.
  • Champion the continuous improvement of safety performance, aligned with Brambles' Zero Harm initiative, while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
  • In collaboration with the maintenance team oversee equipment reliability across the site ensuring operational continuity and efficiency.
  • Ensure full compliance with all task-specific responsibilities outlined in CHEP procedures, work instructions, and safety protocols, maintaining operational consistency.
  • Drive the implementation of best practices and continuous improvement processes to optimize plant performance in areas such as safety, quality, and cost control.
  • Maintain site security and ensure compliance with service center requirements, including managing storage, stock levels, and movement of materials and equipment.
  • Manage, lead, and develop plant staff, fostering accountability and ensuring that all team members meet or exceed performance expectations as outlined in job descriptions and agreements.
  • Ensure that customer expectations, both internal and external, are consistently met or exceeded through effective management of plant operations.

The Plant Managerprovides the leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure operating efficiency and the highest level of customer service. This positionis responsible formanaging total plant operations and delivering superior customer satisfaction by driving results and exceeding expectations in the key areas of budgeting, compliance, safety programs, and people management.

  • Communicate effectively with customers, employees, peers, and senior management

  • Collaborate with companynetworkto maximize knowledge of core competencies and best practices

  • Responsibility for ensuring safety,accountingand hiring policies and procedures are known and adhered to by managers and staff

  • Full P& L Responsibility; analyses P/L statements and balance sheets todetermineefficiencies and inefficiencies in business practices

  • Serve as resource to the Director and Regional Manager for special projects, and deliver the overall vision of the Region

Compensation Statement:

The salary range for this position is $116,000 - $159,00per year.Salary ranges providedtake into accounta wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications, geographic differentials and other business and organizational needs. Therefore, actual amounts offered may be higher or lower than the range provided. If you have questions, please speak to your Talent Acquisition Partner about the flexibility and detail of our compensation philosophy.
