Job Title: High School Science Teacher (Chemistry Focus)
Reports To: School Leadership / Principal
Salary: Starting at $48,000 annually (commensurate with experience and qualifications)


Position Overview

The High School Science Teacher (Chemistry Focus) is responsible for developing students' understanding of scientific concepts through rigorous, content-rich instruction aligned with The Vanguard School's mission. This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about chemistry, hands-on learning, and helping students build both confidence and competence in applying scientific principles.

The teacher will deliver engaging, lab-based instruction and foster intellectual curiosity while supporting students in mastering foundational and advanced chemistry concepts, including potential Advanced Placement (AP) coursework.
