Position Overview
Primary Purpose of Position
The primary responsibilities for this position include teaching chemical engineering courses, supporting research program, student advising, mentoring and recruitment, conducting scholarly activities, and all other activities required for a successful academic career. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, engaging in accreditation procedures, program assessment, and service to the department, College, and University as needed.
This is a 12-month, non-tenure-track faculty position.

The Department of Chemical, Biological & Bioengineering (CBBE) is responsible for implementing and assessing its nationally ranked and accredited programs in Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, and Bioengineering. The department offers or will offer BS, MS, and PhD programs. The CBBE department has approximately 400 undergraduate students and graduate students. Minimum Requirements
Lecturer: B.S. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering
Teaching Assistant Professor: B.S. in Chemical Engineering and Ph.D. in a related field
Preferred: Industrial experience in a chemical-related industry
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education
Experience in a chemical-related industry is highly desirable.
Required License or Certification Is this position eligible for a remote or hybrid work arrangement, consistent with university and state policies. On-site (Employees are primarily in the office and/or have a critical job requirement that requires dedicated office space on-site)
