Job description

Job title: Process Engineer
Duration: 6 Month Plus Contract
Location: San Antonio, TX
Experience : 0–2+ years
 
Responsibilities:
  • Support chemical pilot plant projects through process engineering, data analysis, operations, and troubleshooting.
  • Develop mass/energy balances, thermodynamic, pressure-drop, heat-transfer, flow, and pipe-sizing calculations.
  • Collect/analyze process data and prepare technical reports, procedures, and engineering documentation.
  • Operate and troubleshoot pilot plant equipment including pumps, piping, heaters, heat tracing, and process systems.
  • Support equipment installation, modification, startup, maintenance, shutdowns, and turnarounds.
  • Support chemical/product sampling, plant cleanup, and safe plant operations.
  • Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering required; 0–2+ years experience acceptable.
  • chemical engineering fundamentals required.
  • Pilot plant/chemical/petrochemical experience, SolidWorks/CAD, and process controls preferred; flexible for 24/5 or 24/7 shifts. US Citizen/Green Card required.
