What You'll Do:  
  • Prepare, cook, season, and serve a variety of meals and snacks according to menus and recipes while ensuring food quality and proper portioning.
  • Order, stock, and organize food and kitchen supplies, including retrieving ingredients and preparing items for meal service.
  • Operate and monitor kitchen equipment and cooking temperatures to ensure food is prepared safely and properly.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen and dining environment, including dishwashing, cleaning tasks, and assisting dietary staff as needed.

What You'll Need:  
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred  
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a long-term care setting preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and food preparation
  • Serve Safe Certification
  • Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Must be able to communicate, read and write fluently in English
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritize, and work in a fast paced environment
