What you'll be responsible for each day:

The Retail Store Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while adhering to all food safety requirements.

  • Greet customers entering the establishment, contributing to a positive guest experience by exceeding their expectations and preparing orders to their specifications.
  • Maintain an orderly and clean check out area.
  • Run the cash register; receiving payment by cash, check, or credit card and issuing receipts, refunds, or change as needed.
  • Perform reconciliation of cash drawer, ensuring amounts are correct and that adequate change is available.
  • Maintain adequate stocking of shelves, cleanliness, and organization of work area throughout the day.
  • Price products.
  • Prepare and distribute sampling products to customers.
  • Accurately and efficiently prepare orders to customer specifications.
  • Cook and prepare food items per our standards of quality, consistency and timelines.
  • Work in the deli making cheese trays, pizzas and bagging product.
  • Ensure compliance with all health code requirements and organization standards.
  • Operate equipment safely as determined by organization safety standards.
  • Take shipping orders.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Learn how to prepare Fudge/Cheese Fudge.
  • Maintain food storage, receiving, stocking & rotating per food safety and company standards.
  • Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Safety Protocol
    • Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.
    • Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
    • Support safety policies and programs.

The individual who will own this role:

Education Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in customer service, retail and/or food safe environment required.

Certification/Licensure Required:

  • None
