Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle and resolve firewall tickets, specifically related to role and policy management.
  • Manage and configure firewall rules, NAT policies, and routing configurations.
  • Address and resolve firewall requests for Palo Alto, CheckPoint, and Cisco firewalls.
  • Process firewall-related tickets for AWS and Azure environments, focusing on network security configurations.
  • Coordinate with the team to handle firewall change requests from ServiceNow and through the designated request management system (Tufin).
  • Perform troubleshooting on firewall policies, NAT issues, and route configurations.
  • Provide technical support and documentation for firewall-related issues and resolutions.
  • Ensure security policies are compliant with organizational standards and guidelines.
  • Work closely with the engineering and operations teams to ensure smooth firewall operations.
  • Participate in change management and audit processes related to firewall configurations.
  • Ensure timely resolution of all assigned tickets and requests in line with service level agreements (SLAs).
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience with firewall management, including Palo Alto, CheckPoint, and Cisco firewalls.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, including NAT, routing, and security policies.
