Job description

  • Provides customer service and support to guests with questions and inquiries via phone, direct mail, and direct contact.
  • Provides an enjoyable vacation experience from check in to check out. Educates the guests on hotel policies and area events and attractions. Performs as hotel curb-side greeter and express check in agent for guests upon arrival. Conducts switchboard operations and relays guest’s messages/incoming mail when appropriate.
  • Responds to guest inquiries, questions, suggestions and resolves minor complaints and discrepancies. Follows up with the Front Office Manager or VSA Resorts Manager as appropriate.
  • Processes reservation payments, deposits, and refunds. Confirms address, telephone, and email information for all guests.
  • Reconciles shift activity reports and performs key and folio audits.
  • Enforces hotel policies and procedures.
  • Coordinates housekeeping and maintenance reported requests and follows up with guests.
  • Performs related duties as assigned or as situation dictates.
