Job description

We are seeking experienced Autobody Paint & Body Technicians to join our growing team at Auffenberg Dealer Group in Shiloh, Illinois. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of auto body repair services on a variety of vehicles.
Responsibilities May Include:
  • Priming, Prepping, Sanding, Masking for Paint
  • Conducting full vehicle inspections to determine the extent of damage and necessary repairs
  • Repairing and replacing damaged body parts, such as doors, fenders, and bumpers
  • Straightening and aligning frames and chassis
  • Welding and soldering damaged areas
  • Prepping and painting vehicles to match original factory specifications
  • Repair and refinish damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
  • Work efficiently and accurately to meet or exceed deadlines
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Body Shop Technician
  • Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques and tools
  • Ability to read and interpret repair orders and estimates
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
  • I-CAR certification is a plus
  • Proficient in all aspects of body repair and refinishing
  • Knowledge of frame repair and measuring techniques
  • Experience with advanced repair techniques such as welding, riveting, and bonding
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
