Job description

CHDโ€™s Adult Mental Health division is looking for new team members! Currently hiring Residential Support Specialists to provide direct care to our clients. The program works with adults in the community who are suffering from various forms of mental illness. We are looking for people who have an interest in psychology and a firm belief that all members of our community should be treated with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily activities include providing direct services to program clients living in a group home setting in the community
  • Supporting clients' activities of daily living, administering medications as needed,
  • Advocating for individuals within various community settings, and providing opportunities to optimize their independence, rehabilitation and recovery
  • Develop professional and supportive relationships with clients and provide informal counseling and guidance with a person-centered focus
  • The ideal candidates will have a desire to work with members of our community who have mental illness

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Must have a vehicle for work use and current driver's license
  • Ability to complete medication administration training (MAP)
  • Preferred candidates have active CPR and First Aid Certifications.
  • All candidates must complete and pass background record screening process

Pay rate:ย $20/hour.

Schedule: Ideal candidate will be available evenings and weekends. 2nd and 3rd shift positions are now open.
