  • Regulatory Guidance & Training: Serving as the subject matter expert, providing essential support and training to branches and clients on evolving trade regulations.
  • Compliance Audits: Conducting and managing internal compliance audits, including FDA shadow audits, to ensure adherence to policies and minimize risk.
  • Post-Entry Filings: Reviewing and approving post-entry submissions such as Post Summary Corrections (PSC), Protests, and Prior Disclosures.
  • Policy Development: Setting and enforcing policies and procedures for a robust and compliant customs regulatory program.
  • Team Leadership: Managing a team of compliance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, and providing mentorship and guidance.
Required Qualifications:
  • Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) with a minimum of 15 years of customs brokerage experience.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, including tariff classification, valuation, and entry procedures.
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
  • Experience with Customs audits and compliance policy development.
  • FTZ experience is a strong plus.
  • Deep understanding of CBP and PGA regulations, CTPAT, and import compliance best practices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Strong judgment, analytical skills, and decision-making ability.
