Title: Aircraft Analysis Support Specialist
Location: National Capital Region
Clearance Required: Secret (TS/SCI preferred)
Employment Type: Full-time; contingent upon contract award (~May 2026)

Overview
JMark is seeking an Aircraft Analysis Support Specialist to provide technical, analytical, and sustainment support for aircraft programs. This role will enable readiness and interoperability by analyzing aircraft systems, maintenance and operational data, supporting fault diagnosis, logistics, provisioning, performance evaluation, and ensuring airworthiness and system health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze maintenance, operational, performance, and mission data to assess aircraft readiness and support needs.
  • Conduct fault diagnostics and subsystem analysis to identify issues, performance limitations, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support logistics and sustainment planning: provisioning of parts, support equipment, supply chain involvement, and life-cycle sustainment.
  • Maintain and analyze aircraft supportability, reliability, maintainability metrics; contribute to operational availability studies.
  • Evaluate aircraft airworthiness / operational limitations and help ensure compliance with required standards/regulations.
  • Produce technical reports and dashboards summarizing analysis findings, trends, and recommendations.
  • Interface with engineering, maintenance, supply chain, operations, and customer teams to collect data, understand use cases, and deliver actionable insights.
  • Support field operations if required: site or depot-level evaluations, troubleshooting, or engineering guidance.
  • Maintain documentation, track changes, maintain historical performance and maintenance logs.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Aviation Management, Data Analytics, or related technical discipline.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in aircraft analysis, maintenance analysis, or sustainment support in defense / aviation contexts.
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to work with maintenance records, operational data, fault logs.
  • Hands-on experience with diagnostic / analysis tools; ability to interpret aircraft performance limitations, technical drawings, maintenance data, etc.
  • Knowledge of aircraft systems (avionics, propulsion, structural/hull, etc.), and operational amp; maintenance workflows.
  • Experience with logistics / provisioning / support equipment or supply chain analyses is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present analysis to both technical and leadership audiences.
  • U.S. Citizenship required; active or ability to obtain Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with 5th generation aircraft or advanced platforms (e.g., F-35, stealth platforms).
  • Experience with airworthiness standards, regulatory compliance, FAA / DoD standards.
  • Familiar with modeling / simulation of aircraft systems, performance modeling.
  • Experience with tools used for aircraft maintenance / fault tracking / reliability growth / predictive maintenance.
  • Graduate degree (M.S. / equivalent) or advanced certification in aircraft maintenance / reliability engineering.
