Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and establishes procedures for collecting, processing, and analyzing biological specimens and other substances
  • Performs and reports analytical tests, integrating data from various clinical laboratory departments and resolving discrepancies
  • Confirms abnormal results, verifies quality control, and develops solutions to testing or data issues
  • Conducts preventive and corrective maintenance of laboratory equipment and coordinates repairs as needed
  • Promotes teamwork, service excellence, and process improvement while adhering to laboratory policies and guidelines
  • Provides guidance and support to medical laboratory science students during educational activities
  • Exercises independent judgment in planning operations and making technical decisions
  • Interacts professionally with patients, internal and external customers, and other healthcare professionals

Requirements:

  • Clinical lab experience 
  • Degree in Medical Technology or related study 
  • AMT or ASCP certified
