As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual therapy sessions via video chat to assist clients in navigating their mental health challenges.
• Encouraging open discussions about emotions and experiences, fostering client self-awareness and insights into personal relationships.
• Acting as an advocate for clients, helping them articulate their personal goals and aspirations.
• Performing comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health conditions and formulating actionable, solution-focused treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Documenting client progress and adapting treatment strategies to ensure effective outcomes.

Your work will primarily focus on adults facing a range of low-acuity mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and stress-related conditions. This role is ideal for professionals who are skilled at establishing rapport with clients, understanding their unique situations, and providing personalized treatment options to guide them toward improved mental health.

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Hold a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling.
• Possess an active independent license in one of the following areas: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• Exhibit strong computer literacy skills, with the ability to use telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems effectively.
