Charm City Therapy is a Maryland based pediatric multidisciplinary therapy center offering speech, occupational, and physical therapy. Located in a beautiful state of the art clinic in the heart of Owings Mills, we service children from birth until 21. Position Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our school-based team in Gaithersburg, MD. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. The ideal candidate is collaborative, student-centered, and committed to supporting each childs ability to communicate effectively in the academic setting.
Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply! We offer excellent mentorship and supervision to support your professional growth and successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and write formal diagnostic reports.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for eligible students.
  • Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings.
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication needs in the classroom.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Document and track student progress toward IEP goals.
  • Support literacy, social skills, and language development initiatives.
  • Supervise and support other clinicians, if applicable.
  • Provide training and resources to school staff regarding communication disorders.
Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Maryland Speech-Language Pathology License.
