For over a century Charlotte Pipe and Foundry Company has been manufacturing pipe and fittings exclusively in the USA, employing 1,400 loyal, hard-working Americans. Today we manufacture the industry's broadest range of standard and specialty DWV products, including cast iron and plastic pipe and fittings.

Charlotte Pipe is headquartered in Charlotte, NC, and has seven plant locations across the United States.

Charlotte Pipe and Foundry, located in Monroe, NC, is looking for a Packaging Machine Tender with a proven track record to join our team. We are the only manufacturer that offers a complete system of cast iron, PVC, CPVC, ABS and FlowGuard Goldยฎ pipe and fittings for residential and commercial plumbing systems and industrial applications. Investment in the latest tooling and machinery make it possible for us to meet increasing demand for our products and to provide the highest quality pipe and fittings in the industry. Qualifications:

  • Ability to learn and apply specific quality standards
  • Ability to prepare written production records

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Operate a UPC machine, bowl feeder and single bagger
  • Use touch screen to operate machine
  • Lift parts and place them on conveyor
  • Place plastic liners in baskets
  • Keep work area up to 5S housekeeping standards
  • Push sealed bags down in baskets
  • Randomly inspect contractor packs for correct number of parts
  • Barcode parts correctly
  • Move baskets with hand trucks. Get parts from EZ Tilt
  • Communicate with packaging operators on previous shift

Schedule: 3rd Shift | 2-2-3 Schedule | 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
