Schedule: Full-Time, to include evenings and weekends as required*
Reporting Manager: Director of Planned Giving
Travel: Up to 10%
Salary: $60,000-$80,000 Depending on Experience

POSITION SUMMARY
The Planned Giving Associate supports the Museum of the Bibleโ€™s planned giving program by helping identify, cultivate, secure, document, and steward legacy gifts that advance the museumโ€™s mission. Working closely with the Director of Planned Giving and the Development team, this role builds meaningful relationships with donors, coordinates communications and stewardship efforts, conducts prospect research, maintains accurate gift and donor records, and assists with planned giving marketing and program administration. Approximately 60% of the position focuses on developing new planned giving opportunities from the museumโ€™s existing donor base, while 40% supports departmental operations, project management, and documentation. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, relationship-driven professional with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for Biblical stewardship and donor engagement.
DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing and prospective donors through calls, meetings, correspondence, and personal visits to identify planned giving opportunities.
  • Educate and guide donors regarding charitable gift planning options, including bequests, beneficiary designations, charitable trusts, gift annuities, retirement assets, real estate, business interests, and other legacy giving strategies.
  • Steward current and prospective Marie Green Legacy Society members through meaningful engagement focused on biblical generosity and long-term Kingdom impact.
  • Manage donor cultivation activities, maintain accurate records, provide timely follow-up, and assist donors in completing planned gift documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Planned Giving, Marketing, and Direct Response teams to support planned giving campaigns, donor communications, educational initiatives, and events.
  • Review donor records and identify qualified planned giving prospects within the Museum's constituent database.
  • Collaborate with donors' professional advisors as appropriate and serve as a resource regarding charitable gift planning opportunities.
  • Support the administration and operations of the Marie Green Legacy Society.
  • Conduct prospect and donor research related to planned giving opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, donor files, planned gift documentation, and reporting data.
  • Assist with planned giving events, seminars, and educational initiatives.
  • Support reporting, gift documentation, project planning, and departmental administration.
  • Develop and recommend biblically aligned methods and processes that strengthen the planned giving program.
  • Ensure compliance with company guidelines, deadlines, and design standards.
  • Other Duties as Assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS amp; REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • Experience in planned giving, nonprofit development, fundraising, donor relations, or relationship management preferred.
  • Knowledge of donor stewardship principles and charitable gift planning concepts preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM databases and fundraising best practices is a plus.
Skills:
  • Strong relationship-building, donor cultivation, and stewardship skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex charitable giving concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Comfortable discussing faith, generosity, stewardship, and biblical values with donors.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records in a deadline-driven environment.
