About the Role

As a Radiologic Technologist, you'll be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging safely and accurately while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. You'll work closely with providers and clinical staff to support patient care, maintain equipment, and contribute to efficient clinic operations.

What You'll Do

  • Perform radiologic imaging procedures accurately and efficiently to support diagnosis and treatment
  • Position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
  • Review images for clarity and retake as needed
  • Apply ALARA principles to ensure safe radiation exposure
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot radiologic equipment; perform routine quality control checks
  • Assist with state inspections and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of imaging equipment and workspaces
  • Ensure safety of patients, families, and staff during all imaging procedures
  • Document imaging and patient interactions accurately in the EMR
  • Provide patients with imaging records (e.g., CDs) as requested and ensure proper charge documentation
  • Assist with patient flow and support clinical team needs, including room turnover and stocking
  • Perform splinting and assist with basic clinical tasks as directed by providers
  • Educate patients on equipment use (e.g., crutches) and post-visit care
  • Ensure accurate coding and charge capture, including CPT codes
  • Support a positive, team-oriented environment and deliver excellent patient experience
  • Participate in trainings, staff meetings, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Manage opening and closing procedures for the x-ray area
  • Coordinate STAT over-reads with radiology partners and follow up on reports

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent accredited program
  • Current ARRT certification
  • State licensure (as required)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • 1+ year of radiologic technologist experience (preferred)
  • Pediatric experience (preferred)
