The Web Designer – SharePoint Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining visually compelling, userfriendly SharePoint sites and web content. This role includes leading creative direction, producing highquality graphics and data visualizations, managing web content, and ensuring all digital products align with organizational branding and communication goals. The designer will work closely with clients, leadership, and technical teams to deliver modern, accessible, and engaging SharePoint experiences.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead creative direction — Drive the visual strategy for SharePoint sites, web content, and graphic design projects; ensure alignment with agency branding and messaging.
  • Develop advanced data visualizations — Transform complex datasets into interactive dashboards, charts, maps, and infographics for SharePoint and web platforms.
  • Design and maintain SharePoint sites — Build modern, responsive SharePoint pages, site templates, navigation structures, and content layouts.
  • Create multimedia and web content — Produce graphics, reports, presentations, animations, and web assets for SharePoint and other digital channels.
  • Manage web content lifecycle — Oversee updates, versioning, accessibility compliance, and content governance across SharePoint sites.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders — Lead scoping sessions, gather requirements, present design concepts, and ensure final deliverables meet expectations.
  • Mentor junior designers — Provide guidance, feedback, and creative leadership to elevate team output.
  • Collaborate across teams — Work with developers, analysts, and communications teams to integrate content, data, and functionality.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Communication Design, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in graphic design, web design, data visualization, or multimedia development; 15+ years in lieu of degree.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and managing SharePoint sites in enterprise environments.
  • Proven track record leading creative projects from concept to delivery.

  • Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization tools for embedding dashboards into SharePoint.
  • Experience with UX/UI design, wireframing, and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe XD, etc.).
  • Ability to lead creative workshops or design reviews.
  • Experience supporting federal agencies or large enterprise environments.
