Job Title: Equipment Service Technician


Chappell Tractor, a leading provider of construction equipment, is seeking an experienced Equipment Service Technician to join our team in Hopedale, MA. As an Equipment Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing equipment on the road at customer locations.


Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair equipment issues on-site at customer locations

- Perform routine maintenance on equipment

- Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service

- Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used

- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and workspace


Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in equipment repair and maintenance

- Strong mechanical and electrical skills

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Requirements:

Prior experience working as a road technician at an equipment, truck or automotive dealership is a preferred. The ideal candidate will have graduated from a technical or vocational school or have equivalent experience. Must be knowledgeable with all major mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems found in this type of equipment. Experience servicing diesel engines is also required.

Must be willing to work outside in all weather conditions.
