Senior Associate, Marketing Strategist Integrated Strategy | Retail Bank

Are you passionate about working on breakthrough marketing campaigns? Capital One is seeking a Marketing Senior Associate to join our dynamic Integrated Strategy team. In this role, you will be a key member of our marketing efforts, assisting with the development of creative and messaging strategies for integrated campaigns. You'll help execute compelling narratives, assist with the learning agenda, and help maintain our brand voice across all channels.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Associate on the Integrated Strategy team, you will be a key team member assisting with the "why" and the "what" behind our marketing campaigns.

  • Assist with Creative Strategy: You'll help gather business objectives and consumer insights into clear creative briefs that are shared with our internal creative teams and external agency partners.

  • Support Messaging Strategy: You will help execute clear, compelling, and customer-centric messaging hierarchies and narratives that resonate with our target audiences.

  • Assist with the Learning Agenda: You'll support a test-and-learn mindset, helping to track key questions, and partnering with analytics teams to gather campaign effectiveness results and insights.

  • Coordinate Campaign Integration: You will work with cross-functional teams—including Brand, Channel Leads, Product Strategy, and others—to help support a cohesive and seamless customer experience.

  • Gather Insights: You'll build knowledge on our customers, the competitive landscape, and market trends, using data and insights to support marketing recommendations and provide updates to the team.

This Associate Should Bring:

  • Experience assisting with omni-channel integrated marketing campaigns.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to partner with team members and stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to help translate data and customer insights into marketing updates and recommendations.

  • Experience contributing to insightful creative briefs and supporting the creative development process from concept to execution.

  • A collaborative spirit and experience managing tasks for multiple projects in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience.

  • At least 2 years of experience in marketing, brand strategy, or advertising.

  • At least 1 year of experience supporting marketing campaigns.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of marketing experience, with a focus on brand strategy or campaign development

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $96,500 - $110,100 for Sr. Associate, Marketing Wilmington, DE: $87,700 - $100,100 for Sr. Associate, Marketing

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
