About SiTime

SiTime is the Precision Timing company.

Timing is the heartbeat of all electronics, ensuring performance, resilience and scalability. For decades, quartz devices, non-silicon technology, have kept systems in sync, but they struggle in harsher, more demanding environments. MEMS-based Precision Timing delivers greater accuracy, smaller size and resilience. Today, MEMS timing powers over 400 applications, including high-growth ones in AI datacenters, automated driving, industrial and humanoid robots, wearables and IoT.

Our semiconductor MEMS programmable solutions offer a rich feature set that enables customers to differentiate their products with higher performance, smaller size, lower power, and better reliability. With more than 4 billion devices shipped, SiTime is changing the timing industry. For more information, visit: www.sitime.com.

Job Summary

The Channel Marketing Manager for the Industrial Business Unit sits at the intersection of product, sales, and the broader distribution and rep eco-system. You will own the programs and content that equip our channel partners, including but not limited to distributors, rep sales and FAEs, to identify, qualify, and close precision timing opportunities across the wide spectrum of our customer base (e.g. industrial automation, robotics, smart grids, sensing, GNSS, etc). This role reports to the Director of Product Marketing, Industrial, and carries direct visibility to regional sales leadership.

SiTime's Industrial BU is scaling rapidly across segments where precision timing is chronically underspecified. The channel is the fastest leverage point for capturing that opportunity, and this role is the engine behind that leverage. You will work closely with product marketing leadership and have direct exposure to BU and executive conversations about market strategy. If you want a channel marketing role where the work matters beyond campaign metrics, this is it. It is not necessary to meet all job requirements to be a qualified candidate for the position.

Responsibilities:

  • Channel enablement content: Build and maintain the technical training library for distributor and rep partners, including product selection guides, competitive comparison frameworks, application briefs, and FAQ documents grounded in real-world timing specifications (frequency stability, phase noise, aging, shock/vibration, etc).
  • FAE and rep training programs: Design and execute quarterly training cadences (webinars, in-person seminars, self-paced modules) across key distributors including Arrow, Avnet, and regional specialty reps. Track completion rates and correlate to opportunity pipeline quality.
  • Co-marketing execution: Manage joint marketing programs with distribution partners: co-branded campaigns, featured product promotions, digital shelf optimization on distributor portals, and event participation at distributor-hosted customer events.
  • Demand generation support: Partner with the broader marketing team to push industrial application campaigns through channel-appropriate formats. lead lists from distributors' customer base, targeted email cadences, application-specific landing pages.
  • Sales intelligence loop: Maintain a structured feedback mechanism between sales (regional and channel), CEs, FAEs, and product marketing. Surface competitive displacement opportunities, specification gaps, and application whitespace back to PM and BU leadership.
  • Industrial segment coverage: Develop channel-specific messaging for priority verticals: factory automation and robotics, smart grid and energy infrastructure, seismic and environmental sensing, and precision test and measurement, Position and timekeeping, etc.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in channel marketing, field marketing, or FAE/applications engineering in the semiconductor industry, with at least 3 years focused on analog or timing components.
  • Sufficient technical depth to have a credible conversation with a design engineer about oscillator stability specs (frequency deviation, ADEV, phase noise floor, holdover drift, etc)
  • Demonstrated experience building and executing FAE or distributor training programs that impact demand creation and funnel/revenue growth.
  • Hands-on experience with major distribution partners (Arrow, Avnet, TTI, or equivalent) and familiarity with how product positioning lives and dies on a distributor's digital shelf.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field required. An MBA or equivalent business/marketing credential is a plus, but technical fluency is the higher priority here.
  • Travel: Up to 25%, including distributor QBRs, customer days, and trade shows

Desired Characteristics & Attributes:

  • Strong written communication: you can write a two-page application brief that a senior EE at a PLC vendor will find technically credible, and a one-pager that a distributor rep can use in a customer call five minutes after reading it.
  • "Make it happen" attitude with strong bias for action and accountability for outcomes
  • Highly collaborative attitude to operate effectively across functions including sales, engineering, operations, and executive leadership

Compensation Range:

At SiTime, we believe great work deserves great rewards. We offer a comprehensive and highly competitive compensation package designed to attract top talent.

The annual base salary range for this role is $154,400.00 - $212300.00. The final offer is determined by factors such as location, experience, education, and training.

In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for a quarterly bonus tied to the achievement of innovation goals—reflecting our commitment to recognizing meaningful impact. We also offer equity grants, providing a meaningful opportunity to share in the company’s future growth and success.

Benefits offered: 401k plan, health and wellness that includes medical, dental, vision, life, parental leave, legal services, and time off plans.

SiTime is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We treat each person fairly and we do not tolerate discrimination or harassment against anyone on the basis of any protected characteristics, including race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, pregnancy, political affiliation, protected veteran status, protected genetic information, or marital status or other characteristics protected by law.
