Job Description:

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As an Change Manager, you will play a crucial role in improving, managing and operating Medicare systems:

  • Provide materials to facilitate Module Change Control Board (MCCB) meetings
  • Work closely with the Enterprise Change Control Manager
  • Ensure all stakeholders have supporting documentation prior to meetings for discussions. (MCCB, ECCB, CAB)
  • Review all Change Requests (CRs) for completeness before CAB and ECCB meetings
  • Agree to meet documented due dates and notify the Enterprise Change Manager prior to any delays; this includes, but is not limited to, due dates related to documentation submissions/review, as well as Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) due dates related to specific Change Request
  • Monitor and report on all CRs and ECRs for delays, impacts, risks, testability, traceability, and schedule changes and/or updates to the Enterprise CCM
  • Communicate with impacted Module Contractors on ECRs
  • Follow up on open CRs to drive them to completion
  • Ensure requested changes align with the operational goals and objectives defined for the Module


WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your technology expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Change Manager must have:

  • Five (5) years of experience as a Change Manager or Change Coordinator
  • Expert MS Project skills and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Expert/Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office products including Office 365, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or business administration. Equivalent work experience may be substituted for a degree
  • Working knowledge of IT best practices and regulations, the software development lifecycle (SDLC), and ITIL Change Management methodology. ITIL certification preferred but not required
  • Prior Medicaid systems experience preferred

Work Arrangements: Remote. Travel 20-50%

The likely salary range for this position is $128,039 - $173,229. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Paid leave and paid holidays are prorated based on the employee's date of hire. The GDIT Paid Family Leave program provides a total of up to 160 hours of paid leave in a rolling 12 month period for eligible employees.
