Job description

Description

We are seeking experienced Folding Operators to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing set-ups and troubleshooting on a variety of G&K/Vijuk, Stahl, and MBO folders. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on maintaining the highest possible level of product quality and integrity within a CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) production environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Review specifications of each job before set-up or production
  • Evaluate type of work, materials and required machine set-upย 
  • Follow CGMP manufacturing procedures for line clearance & documentation
  • Set up folding to meet customer specification and tolerances
  • Work together with QA and ย production personnel to ensure quality output
  • Maintain established ย productivity and output goals.
  • Troubleshoot to resolve problems - make adjustments as needed to settings and equipment for maximum efficiency.ย 
  • Correctly identify the cause(s) of problems before attempting to solve them
  • Pack at folding station as needed
  • Record production and set-up information into electronic forms
  • Assist other operators in daily production
  • Perform daily and preventative maintenance on machinesย 
  • Complete maintenance logs
  • Other duties may be assigned

Experience:

  • G&K/Vijuk Machine Operator: ย ย ย ย ย 3+ year (Preferred)
  • Manufacturing: 3+ year ย ย ย ย ย (Preferred)


Requirements


  • Position requires high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 3 to 5 years prior job-related experienceย 
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to work independentlyย
