Dental Assistant (Part-Time) - $29-$31/hr | 3 Days/Week | Community Health Center
CEC Health Care is seeking a compassionate and reliable Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we provide medical, dental, and behavioral health services to historically underserved members of our community.

Pay: $29.00 - $31.00 per hour
Schedule: Part-Time (3 days per week)
  • Tuesday: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM - Hauppauge
  • Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM - Glen Cove
  • Friday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM - Bethpage
Dental Assistant Responsibilities
  • Provide chairside dental assisting during procedures
  • Take and process dental X-rays in compliance with NYS regulations
  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms
  • Assist with dental lab procedures
  • Maintain clinical supplies and dental equipment
  • Support patient scheduling and appointment confirmations
  • Communicate professionally with patients and caregivers
Qualifications
Required
  • New York State Dental Assistant Certification
  • Ability to take dental radiographs (X-rays)
  • Strong patient communication and customer service skills
Preferred
  • 2+ years dental assistant experience
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD)
