Key Highlights
- The case mix includes a variety of procedures such as general, minimally invasive, bariatric, orthopedic (including trauma, spine, and joint replacement), thoracic, vascular, neurosurgical, ENT, hepatobiliary, urology, IVF, and GYN.
- We also provide a comprehensive range of services in non-OR settings, including vascular and neuro interventional radiology, a busy heart and vascular interventional lab, and anesthesia for gastrointestinal services.
- Join the obstetric anesthesia team in our Labor and Delivery unit, which handles approximately 5,000 deliveries annually.
- Opportunity to rotate to our Ambulatory Surgery Center located on the Hahnemann Campus (9 ORs).
- Supervision of CRNAs within the anesthesia care team model.
- Engagement in resident education within a fully integrated and exceptional training program.
- Participation in educational initiatives, medical simulation, quality improvement projects, and research opportunities.
- The anesthesia team administers around 60,000 anesthetics each year across our Medical Center.
Qualifications
- Must possess an MD or DO degree and be eligible for a Massachusetts medical license.
- Board certified or board eligible in anesthesiology.
