Job description

CFX Products is hiring for our CFX North operation in Hazle Township, Pennsylvania.
We are open to both English and Spanish Speaking Applicants.

This position is based on-site at our Hazle Township, PA facility and supports production operations at that location.

MAIN OBJECTIVE
Safely and efficiently assemble pre-cut, fabricated, and finished components into completed phenolic, wood, and custom products in accordance with production schedules, quality standards, and work instructions. This role uses hand tools, power tools, prints, and standard operating procedures to support daily output, first-pass quality, and on-time completion of customer orders.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assemble component parts and subassemblies into finished products using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, prints, and work instructions.
  • Perform assembly tasks for assigned production areas within the Phenolic, Wood, or Custom lines.
  • Verify parts, dimensions, hardware, fit, and finish before and during assembly to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Read and follow shop drawings, labels, cut lists, travelers, and work instructions to complete jobs accurately.
  • Identify and report defective materials, equipment concerns, missing parts, safety hazards, or quality issues to the Lead or Supervisor.
  • Maintain production flow by meeting daily goals for output, quality, and schedule attainment.
  • Support housekeeping, organization, material handling, and proper storage of tools and components within the work area.
  • Required to follow all company Safety Rules and Procedures. (including but not limited to PPE)
  • Required to maintain consistent and acceptable attendance according to the assigned schedule provided by the manager as well as the Team Member Handbook.
  • Meet departmental goals and defined key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent work experience may be accepted.
  • Ability to use a tape measure and perform basic math accurately.
  • Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, labels, and shop drawings in English.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.; ability to team lift heavier materials as needed.
  • Ability to push or pull material carts, dollies, or non-driven trolleys throughout the facility.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, millwork, cabinetry, carpentry, or related production work preferred.
  • Experience working with commercial fixtures, architectural millwork, phenolic materials, wood products, or custom builds preferred.
  • Previous experience reading prints and completing work to dimensional and visual quality standards preferred.
