Job description

The Technical Applications Analyst serves as a technical subject matter expert supporting the enterprise AMS, NetForum. This focus includes support for NetForum AMS, related integrations, authentication services, Workato iPaas and other downstream SaaS platforms. This position requires strong technical skills including SQL development, scripting, troubleshooting, API integrations and reporting, along with the ability to support business users, testing activities and cross-system issue resolution. This role directly supports resolving business applications tickets and provides suggestions to support continuous improvements of business-critical systems and related data flows. Experience with NetForum, Workato or other Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) solutions and enterpirse SaaS applications is highly desirable.

This will be a temporary, 6-month assignment that will work 100% remotely. It is not benefits eligible.

Essential Functions:

  • Provides day-to-day support for business applications, including investigation, troubleshooting, resolution, and escalation of application support tickets and production issues.
  • Analyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves application, integration, authentication, and data issues across multiple platforms, vendors, and environments.
  • Supports, maintains, and troubleshoots integrations between NetForum and other internal and external systems utilizing Workato, APIs, web services, and other modern integration technologies and protocols.
  • Develops and maintains SQL queries, database scripts, stored procedures, reports, and other technical solutions to support project deliverables and other operational, analytical, and troubleshooting needs.
  • Supports and troubleshoots authentication solutions using Auth0 Single Sign-On (SSO).
  • Partners with business users to understand requirements, identify root causes of issues, and recommend technical solutions and process improvements.
  • Collaborates with internal teams and third-party vendors to investigate incidents and software bugs, coordinate issue resolution, and recommend system enhancements.
  • Assists with the development of test plans, test cases, and testing strategies for enhancements, upgrades, and integrations.
  • Supports unit testing, system testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for NetForum and related business applications, across multiple projects.
  • Validates system enhancements and defect fixes to ensure solutions meet business requirements and do not negatively impact existing functionality.
  • Supports application configuration, deployment, release management, and post-production validation activities for AMS.
  • Assists in maintaining technical documentation including system configurations, integration specifications, support procedures, data mappings, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Provides technical guidance and support to business users regarding application functionality, reporting, data issues, and system capabilities.
  • Supports change management processes and ensures adherence to organizational standards, security requirements, and best practices.
  • Performs minor configuration of AMS and assists staff in changes to and testing of AMS configuration.
Background/Skills/Abilities Preferred:
  • BA/BS required. Major in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, mathematics, statistics, accounting, or other degree emphasizing business analysis, technology or quantitative problem-solving preferred
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with Microsoft SQL Server writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and other scripts for analysis, reporting, troubleshooting and data validation
  • Experience supporting or troubleshooting APIs or other integration technologies (Workato preferred)
  • Experience with Association Management System (AMS) (netFORUM preferred) and/or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) (Salesforce preferred)
  • Familiarity with application integrations, enterprise architecture concepts, and data flows across interconnected business systems.
  • Excellent critical thinking, with a proactive approach to identifying issues and presenting solutions and options
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to work overtime when needed.
