Position Overview

The CFO will provide strategic financial leadership, partnering with executive leadership to support business growth, improve operational performance, and drive long-term financial success. This role oversees all core finance functions, including accounting, treasury, financial planning, tax, risk management, and information systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with executive leadership on business strategy and growth initiatives.
  • Develop and manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Analyze profitability across customers, products, and operations.
  • Improve margins, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee tax, audits, cash flow, treasury, banking, and risk management.
  • Support capital planning, financing, and investment decisions.
  • Evaluate acquisitions, partnerships, and other growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • CPA, CMA, and/or MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years in a senior finance leadership role (CFO, VP Finance, or equivalent).
  • Experience in food manufacturing, consumer packaged goods (CPG), fresh or refrigerated foods, produce, or a similar industry.
  • Recent, hands-on CFO or senior finance leadership experience within a food manufacturing environment is an absolute must. Candidates without direct food manufacturing experience will not be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing finance, cost accounting, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
  • Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and strategic planning.
  • Proven success supporting business growth and financial performance.
