The company provides a comprehensive suite of mission-critical electrical services including Commercial Infrastructure, Residential, & Next-Gen Energy Solutions. With a committed Private Equity partner the organization continues to capitalize on passive founder led businesses afraid to invest in their people, technology, and acquisitions.
Position ScopeCome utilize your interactive management style to partner with all departments including accounting, finance, operations, and sales. Team up with the rest of the Executive Team on a daily basis as your goal is to improve margins to further enhance profitability as the company continues to scale. As the most crucial finance hire to date will work closely with the CEO, Chief Operations Officer, VP of Business Development, and Sr. Director of Procurement. You'll be in charge of the financial reporting package, analytics to make data-driven decisions, management reporting, and quarterly board decks.
Responsibilities
  • As Chief Financial Officer your day to day will include financial statement presentation for board meetings, overseeing financial planning, business operations analytics to make sound data driven decisions.
  • Lead the refinancing of approximately $100 million in existing debt, securing favorable terms, optimizing the company's capital structure including executing a comprehensive refinancing strategy, negotiating with lenders and other financial institutions, and managing the due diligence process.
  • Develop the incumbent FP&A Director to create a best-in-class Financial Planning and Analysis department that is capable of developing the annual operating plan with minimal supervision, including having operating budgets roll up into corporate forecast.
  • Manage relationships with existing and potential investors including preparing investor presentations, conducting private investor calls, and utilizing asset management team when responding to current investor inquiries.
  • You will work closely with other executives in formulating and executing our strategic business plans.
  • Provide quarterly reporting to the Board of Directors, Debt Holders, and CEO while interpretating the results in a quantitative and qualitative manner.
  • Act as a strategic partner to executive team and equity sponsor, leverage relationships with lenders, follow executive managements lead and continuously act as a driver in putting company's culture first.
  • Giving direction to Controller ensure annual audits are completed timely resulting in GAAP financials being presented to the board, outside shareholders, banking partners, and other key stakeholders.
  • Dive into the weeds when it comes to creating reporting around Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) that you will define.

  • Strong leadership experience in a finance or accounting function.
  • 18+ years of experience
