Ingenieur(e) en Conception Hydraulique - Recherche et Developpement soutiendra le processus de conception hydraulique grace a des projets de recherche en dynamique des fluides et au developpement de nouvelles methodes numeriques. Le ou la candidat(e) apportera egalement un soutien aux equipes impliquees dans la conception des conduits hydrauliques des turbines hydroelectriques a toutes les etapes, tant pour les nouvelles unites que pour les projets de remplacement de roue et de rehabilitation.

Ce mandat comprendra les responsabilites suivantes :


Taches principales :

  • Effectuer des analyses en dynamique des fluides numeriques (Computational Fluid Dynamics, CFD) ;
  • Developper de nouvelles methodes et outils analytiques et numeriques en soutien aux taches de conception hydraulique.

Taches additionnelles :

  • Definition, programmation, entretien et modification des outils et des processus d'ingenierie hydraulique ;
  • Support aux soumissions pour design preliminaire et revues;
  • Analyse des exigences de conception;
  • Support au developpement de design hydraulique des composantes de turbines de differents types;
  • Implication avec l'equipe du laboratoire hydraulique a Linz pour le developpement de turbines -modeles;
  • Collaboration avec l'ingenierie mecanique et les ingenieurs hydrauliques de contrat pour assurer l'execution continue des contrats de developpement.

  • Detenir un diplome universitaire de premier cycle en genie mecanique ou similaire avec orientation en dynamique des fluides - un diplome de deuxieme cycle est fortement desirable ;
  • Idealement, un minimum de cinq (5) ans d'experience en ingenierie dans le domaine des turbines hydrauliques ;
  • Membre de l'Ordre des Ingenieurs du Quebec (OIQ), ou satisfaire aux criteres d'admissibilite de l'OIQ ;
  • Familiariteavec les simulations numeriques de dynamique des fluidespour les turbines hydrauliques;
  • Connaissance et comprehension des aspects commerciaux et techniques de l'equipement de centrale hydro-electrique ;
  • Sens de l'innovation, habilete a la resolution de problemes, et sens pousse du detail;  
  • Fortes habiletes pour le travail d'equipe et excellente communication ecrite et verbale;
  • Bonne autonomie de travail;
  • Familiarite avec la programmation, idealement avec de l'experience en scripts Linux et avec Python;
  • Bilinguisme desire: francais et anglais.
