Position: Transportation and CFC contractor
Location: Forest Hill, TX
Pay: $15.00 per hour (HCS)
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Attendant for a 60 year-old male who is verbal an needs a staff for assistance with transportation to doctor appointments and other community outings.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Proficiently communicates in the functional language of the individual to whom the CFC is and transportation is assigned.
  • Feels comfortable working in close physical proximity to individual.
  • Demonstrates emotional maturity, stability, and ability to perform under stress, and possesses frustration tolerance.
  • Shows ability to exercise good judgment, cooperation, tact, and discretion in dealing with the individual, family, etc.
  • Shows interest in developing additional knowledge and skills.
  • Walk with the individual in his neighborhood.

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must NOT be the spouse of the individual to whom the Contract CFC staff is assigned: or if the individual is under 18 years of age, a parent of the individual to whom the Intervener is assigned.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of two years experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Valid Texas Drivers' License.
