August 19, 2026OpportunityThe Public Equities team is seeking an Analyst to join our collaborative investment research team. We invest globally across industries and market capitalizations, with a focus on identifying companies trading at meaningful discounts to their intrinsic value. As part of a flat and highly collaborative team structure, the Analyst will contribute to idea generation, investment research and due diligence. The successful candidate will combine strong analytical capabilities with intellectual curiosity, sound judgment, and a passion for investing. They will conduct fundamental research on global investment opportunities, develop financial models and valuations, and communicate investment recommendations clearly and effectively.Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct fundamental research and analysis on publicly traded companies across industries and geographies.

  • Build and maintain financial models, perform valuation analysis, and assess investment opportunities using a variety of valuation methodologies.

  • Identify and evaluate potential investment ideas through analysis of company filings, financial statements, industry research, market data, and other primary and secondary research sources.

  • Prepare high-quality investment research reports and present findings and recommendations to the investment team.

  • Monitor industry trends, company developments, and global market conditions to identify investment opportunities and risks.

  • Collaborate with team members on idea generation, due diligence, and portfolio monitoring activities.

  • Utilize investment research tools and databases such as Bloomberg, FactSet, Capital IQ, and similar platforms to support analysis.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Undergraduate or master's degree with strong academic achievement in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, or a related field.

  • Strong financial statement analysis, financial modeling, and valuation skills.

  • Demonstrated interest in public equity investing, including the ability to articulate investment ideas and supporting analysis.

  • Experience conducting fundamental investment research through internships, co-op placements, investment clubs, asset management, investment banking, equity research, or related roles.

  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

  • Self-motivated, intellectually curious, and capable of working independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.

  • Knowledge of global equity markets and a long-term, research-driven investment mindset.

  • Progress toward or completion of the CFA designation is considered an asset.

  • Additional language capabilities are considered an asset given the team's global investment mandate.

This role is based in Calgary, Alberta.
