International long\-only fund seeks Global Equity Research Analyst to cover general sectors, mainly in the US and Europe.  The asset manager focuses on high quality growth stocks in long\-term, fundamental value\-oriented investment.  The position is located in New York City and a part of the global team located in different time zone. While the NY team covers the Western Hemisphere, the other office covers the rest. <\/span><\/span>\n

\n Responsibilities:<\/span><\/span><\/b>\n
\n <\/span>\n <\/div>\n
    \n
  •  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Conduct bottom\-up research of equities on assigned industries<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n
    \n <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Develop and present new investment ideas<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n
    \n <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Monitor current investments to enhance risk\-adjusted returns for the portfolio.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n
    \n <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Monitor the latest news on the underlining stocks in the portfolio and evaluate the impacts on the stocks.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n
    \n <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Build and maintain complete company models, create income statement, balance sheet and cash flow forecasts and perform valuation analysis.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n
    \n <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Conduct on\-site company visits and conference calls and meet the company managements frequently.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n
    \n <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Maintain good and frequent communication with the portfolio managers on industries and stocks in their portfolio.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n

      \n
    • Bachelor's degree with a strong academic track record, MBA, CFA a Plus.<\/span>\n
      \n <\/span><\/li>\n
    • Excellent analytical skills<\/span>\n
      \n <\/span><\/li>\n
    • Strong work ethics<\/span>\n
      \n <\/span><\/li>\n
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills<\/span>\n
      \n <\/span><\/li>\n
    • Proficiency in Excel and Bloomberg<\/span>\n
      \n <\/span><\/li>\n
    • Strong team orientation<\/span>\n
      \n <\/span><\/li>\n
    • 10+ Years of experience in Equity investment research at long\-only funds. Senior\/mature candidates are welcome.<\/span>\n
      \n <\/span><\/li>\n
    • Industrial\/Material\/Consumer staple<\/span> sector analyst experience is preferable, but not must<\/span>\n
      \n <\/span><\/li>\n
    • Working knowledge of accounting, finance, and valuation<\/span>\n
      \n <\/span><\/li>\n
    • Ability to multi\-task and work with numerous teams\n
