A Certified Radiologic Technologist is a healthcare professional trained to perform diagnostic imaging examinations, such as X-rays, on patients. They operate specialized equipment to create images that help physicians diagnose and treat medical conditions. Certified Radiologic Technologists must complete an accredited educational program and obtain certification, typically by passing an exam from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
