Full job description
Growing dermatology practice seeking highly skilled, experienced physician assistant. The position would include: continuity of care for established dermatology patients; urgent new dermatology patient visits; cosmetics and laser treatments for new / established patients. Care provided with a blend of direct on-site oversight and off-site supervision from medical director / practice owner / board-certified dermatologist.
Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations to determine dermatological conditions.
  • Administer injections and treatments, including botulinum toxin, while ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Maintain accurate medical records using EHR systems and manage patient data efficiently.
  • Provide health coaching and education to patients regarding skin health and treatment options.
  • Stay updated with American Board of Dermatology standards
Qualifications
  • Certified Physician Assistant
  • Dermatology experience at least 3 years (as a practicing physician assistant)
  • Medical office experience and patient care expertise
  • Proficiency in administering injections and conducting physical examinations
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations
  • Basic life support certification
  • Experience with Epic and EHR systems, including Cerner and eClinicalWorks
