Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for Machine Operator opportunities in Parsons, KS. Responsibilities for a Machine Operator include but are not limited to:

  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate resistance welding machines, brake presses, mechanical power presses, saws, drills, and grinders.

  • Maintenance & Certification: Complete the Operator Maintenance Program (OMP) and obtain LMS certification for basic machine centers within the first 90 days.

  • Quality Control: Recognize and correct defective products while meeting consistent production requirements and maintaining a clean workspace.

  • Documentation: Legibly fill out process monitors, production tickets, and other essential safety and output documentation.

Candidates for Machine Operator must meet the following requirements to be considered:

  • Experience: Ideally 1+ years of related manufacturing or machine operation experience; a HS Diploma or GED is strongly preferred.

  • Technical Skills: Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and accurately use a tape measure.

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods (60+ minutes), and perform repetitive movements including bending and squatting.

  • Safety Compliance: Commitment to following all safety operating procedures and consistently wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
