Job description

Primary Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and event-driven applications using Apache Kafka.
  • Work with APIGEE Runtime Management for API deployment, monitoring, and management.
  • Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performing backend solutions.
  • Support CI/CD pipeline setup, integration, and deployment processes.
  • Integrate applications with cloud platforms and enterprise messaging systems.
  • Participate in system design, architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with business, QA, DevOps, and other technical teams throughout the SDLC.
  • Follow Agile development practices, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
  • Identify and resolve performance, integration, and production issues.
Required Qualifications
  • 6+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Core Java and Spring Boot.
  • Strong experience developing microservices and REST APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.
  • Good understanding of APIGEE Runtime Management.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline setup and DevOps practices.
  • Strong understanding of API design, integration patterns, security, and scalability.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Knowledge of MQ / enterprise messaging systems.
  • Experience in the Banking or Financial Services domain.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern SDLC practices.
  • AWS certification is preferred but not required.
