Location: Charlotte, NC - Onsite
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with deep expertise in AWS cloud services and Spring Boot to join our client's team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience building scalable, high-performance applications, designing microservices, and deploying solutions in AWS.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy Java/Spring Boot microservices applications.
  • Implement and integrate AWS cloud-native services (Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudFormation, etc.).
  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security in AWS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, DevOps, and QA to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in development and production.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 8-10+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong programming skills in Java 8/11+ and Spring Boot framework.
  • Expert-level hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, etc.).
  • Experience building and deploying microservices and REST APIs.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Nice to Have:
  • AWS certification (Developer Associate / Solutions Architect).
  • Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, SNS/SQS).
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
