Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) OR a High School Diploma/GED/associate degree AND equivalent work experienceĀ Ā 
  • PMI (Project Management Institute) CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) (preferred) or willingness to obtain once certification requirements are met (required)Ā Ā 
  • 1 - 3 years of project administration or coordination experience working with stakeholders at multiple levels across business units is preferred; however, equivalent education or other experience will be consideredĀ Ā 
  • Healthcare experience preferred, not requiredĀ Ā 
  • Strong time management, organizational, administrative, and attention to detail at both individual and team levelsĀ Ā 
  • Customer service orientation with a strong problem-solving approachĀ Ā 
  • Ability to learn new concepts quickly and apply them in real-world situationsĀ Ā 
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environmentĀ Ā 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation development, meeting planning and facilitation, agenda/minutes creation/documentation, and other communication development preferredĀ Ā

The Project Coordinator role is part of the Project Management Office (PMO) and provides support for Portfolio, Program, and Project Management activities. This role supports the department's overall functions to enable effective Project Governance and Program and Project execution. The Project Coordinator provides administration, process, and reporting support to governance and project execution. This role also manages small projects. The Project Coordinator must have excellent time management skills to function in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating independent work skills, problem solving skills, a strong work ethic and strong verbal and written communication skills.Ā 
This is a Full Time, remote, Project Coordinator role.

Supports the leadership of the Project Management Office to ensure the effective administration of governance, programs, and projectsĀ Ā 
Ā  Ā  Defines large and complex demands that impact many functional areas across the organization.Ā Ā 
Ā  Ā  Can identify, define, and document functional, technical, and business requirements to clearly define business needs.Ā Ā 
Ā  Ā  Identifies and plans resource requirements for demands of all sizes and assesses resource capacity within teams and the organization.Ā Ā 
Ā  Ā  Develops the financial details to support the business case for a demand. Understands the basic financial business case calculations.Ā Ā 
Ā  Ā  Ensures that processes are followed to ensure effective outcomes and the generation of meaningful metricsĀ Ā 
Ā  Ā  Provides administration support to Programs and Projects of most sizesĀ Ā 
Ā  Ā  Assists with the definition of new demands, identification of stakeholders, and the development of resource plansĀ Ā 
Ā  Ā  Works across departments and across the organization in support of project administrationĀ Ā 
Ā  Ā  Supports resource management by learning to assess resource capacity and working to resolve resourcing conflictsĀ Ā 
Ā  Ā  Communicates effectively across the PMO department to include project updates and issues/risks escalation to project managers and leadersĀ Ā 
Ā  Ā  Provides input on best practices for project administration within the PMOĀ Ā
