Job description

LightEdge Solutions is developing the IT solutions that will propel businesses forward over the next 10 years. Using a combination of shared and private/dedicated platforms, LightEdge has been successful in offering businesses alternatives that streamline operations, improve reliability and reduce costs.
If you are passionate about creating real solutions that help businesses with cutting-edge technology, want to be challenged to think out of the box and be in a position where you can impact change on a daily basis, then LightEdge can offer you a dynamic corporate environment built on teamwork and personal responsibility.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for a technical hands-on project manager who thrives under pressure, excels in ambiguity, and can simultaneously drive multiple high-priority projects while exhibiting discipline, structure, and accountability.

The Senior Project Manager partners with leaders and teams to ensure strategic initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable business impact. Beyond project delivery, this individual will help mature PMO capabilities, improve processes, and create operational rigor that enables business success. The right person is structured, coachable, resilient, direct, collaborative, and comfortable driving accountability in an environment where priorities move quickly.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Project Leadership

  • Lead multiple concurrent projects and programs from initiation through close.
  • Translate business objectives into executable project plans with clear milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budgets, risks, and resource requirements.
  • Drive accountability and maintain momentum across cross-functional teams.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks and proactively resolve issues before they impact delivery.

PMO and Process Excellence

  • Demonstrate ability to continuously improve project management standards, tools, templates, and methodologies.
  • Develop & maintain executive dashboards, reporting mechanisms, and governance frameworks.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and execution quality.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong partnerships with executive leadership and functional teams.
  • Facilitate alignment across cross functional teams.
  • Provide clear, concise communication to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Escalate critical risks and drive timely decisions.
  • Serve as a change agent throughout the organization.

Execution and Delivery

  • Maintain rigorous project plans and ensure commitments are met.
  • Monitor timelines, budgets, dependencies, and quality metrics.
  • Lead project meetings, steering committees, and executive status reviews.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and resource constraints.
  • Ensure projects deliver measurable business outcomes rather than simply completing activities.

Leadership and Team Development

  • Influence without direct authority and foster collaboration across teams.
  • Mentor project managers and team members on best practices.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, urgency, and continuous improvement.
  • Encourage transparency, problem-solving, and ownership.
  • Support organizational change initiatives and adoption efforts.

What Success Looks Like

The ideal candidate:

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy, high-volume environment.
  • Can juggle competing priorities without losing focus.
  • Is comfortable with ambiguity and constant change.
  • Brings structure to chaos and drives execution.
  • Has exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrates urgency, resilience, and sound judgment.
  • Is equally comfortable operating strategically and rolling up their sleeves to get things done.
  • Maintains composure and delivers results under pressure.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of project management experience (minimum of 5 years in a technical role or environment)
  • Technical fluency to speak the language of project teams
  • PMP certification (will consider candidates in motion to obtain certification)
  • Leadership of complex, enterprise-wide initiatives
  • Experience developing and maintaining detailed project plans and reporting.
  • Experience managing multiple projects of varying priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and PMO practices.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to rapidly ramp into technical teams, absorb complex discussions, and turn conversations into well-defined project plans.
  • Experience with project/program management, governance, and reporting. (Portfolio management is a plus)
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with project management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong background in building detailed & complex project plans
  • Show a high degree of coachability, self-awareness, and learning agility, with a commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Experience building or maturing PMO capabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Experience implementing process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Experience building and maintaining PPM tools, workflows and processes.

Core Competencies

  • Strategic and Tactical Thinking
