Responsibilities
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
  • Serve as the primary front desk point of contact for the site, greeting clients, visitors, and other stakeholders and responding to questions or directing individuals to the appropriate staff member.
  • Coordinate and administer the site's client transportation needs, including scheduling and arranging transportation for admissions, discharges, transfers, medical appointments, and other approved appointments or program needs.
  • Transport clients for admissions, discharges, transfers, medical appointments, and other approved needs, when eligible to drive.
  • Provide administrative support for client admissions, discharges, and transfers, including completing or assisting with required paperwork and supporting implementation of these processes as directed by the program coordinator or designee.
  • Provide Recovery Specialist support duties as needed, including orienting new clients, assisting with personal property check-in and luggage searches, monitoring client whereabouts and safety, interacting with clients, attending shift change reports, and documenting client interactions and observations in the electronic health record as appropriate .
  • Assist with daily activities of clients and provide appropriate guidance and support consistent with the role.
  • Provide administrative support to clinical, medical, and program staff, including drafting correspondence, organizing information, maintaining records, and supporting routine program operations.
  • Provide training and role modeling for new staff as assigned.
  • Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients, visitors, coworkers, vendors, and all other stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED required
Licenses / Certifications:
  • CPR Certified within 12 months of hire
  • Valid Driver's License
Experience:
  • 2+ years experience in a substance use disorder treatment or behavioral health setting
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
  • Have the ability to work independently.
  • Strong verbal skills and ability to communicate with a variety of people from diverse cultures, socioeconomic and educational backgrounds.
  • Flexibility to meet a variety of changing priorities
  • Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients, visitors, coworkers, vendors, and all other stakeholders.
  • Computer skills sufficient to draft emails and memos, complete documentation, and support routine reporting.
  • Must know, understand, and follow applicable rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and requirements of the assigned program.
