Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds– 23 stepdown, 16 med surg Number of Staff– Type of staff: Day Shift – 1 charge, 11 RN, 4 PCT Night Shift– 1 charge, 10 RN, 4 PCT Patient Ratios– 1:3-4 Step down, 1:4-6 med surg Type of equipment– lifts, chest tubes, cardiac drips, stable vented patients, trachs EMR - Cerner

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. 2 years nursing experience Experience working with trachs Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Previous experience with Cerner List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Trach care, chest tubes, wound dressing changes Best personality Fit: Flexibility and high level of clinical competence REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: ACLS/BLS Floating Area(s): Other med surg and progressive care units
