Job Description

I. JOB SUMMARY

The Manager, Clinical Integration, will work closely with the IT, Provider and Executive teams to improve EMR adoption, workflow, and provider satisfaction as relates to use of the EMR. This role will manage the Informatics and EMR adoption teams to align efforts around the goal of higher provider satisfaction and efficiency.

II. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate IT support and onboarding efforts for new employed and non-employed providers
  • Attend physician department meetings and governance committee meeting to provide updates on provided focused initiatives and support efforts
  • Supervise Informatics and Adoption coach staff related to ongoing support and alignment efforts with a focus on Cerner advance metrics, model experience, and Quality initiatives
  • Lead ongoing Physician Experience team to monitor current issues and coordinate support efforts across multiple disciplines and to help provide timely support and feedback to providers related to ongoing issues
  • May lead small to medium projects around physician enhancements and optimization as necessary
  • Develop and maintain documentation for provider support and maintenance of provider focused solution areas
  • Serve as an escalation point for analyst for issues that might affect provider workflow or satisfaction
  • Work with Analyst team to align build efforts with model experience, Cerner Advance metrics, and general industry best practices
  • Coordinate workflow integration touch points, supporting application analysts
  • Assist provider and their teams on effective and efficient coding practices and assist in development of workflow and tools to assist them in these efforts
  • Conduct ongoing "Lunch-and-Learn" type trainings to provide timely education to providers and new functionality and support topics as necessary
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position

III. JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline or professional experience equivalent
  • Master's Degree in related discipline
  • Registered Nurse
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
  • Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
  • Ability to work cooperatively with a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills
  • Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
  • Customer service skills an asset
