DC Warehouse Associate 1

Emser Tile

Emser Tile LLC, a nation-wide industry leader in the distribution of high-quality ceramic tile and natural stone seeks a Warehouse Associate 1. Our 50-plus-year history of unprecedented and continuous growth has created immediate opportunities for professionals. This position is located at our local Distribution Center.

Key Responsibilities

The DC Warehouse Associate 1 is responsible for handling product as it comes in from the port and securely shipping it to our local branches and customers.

Qualifications (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience)

  • Utilizes strap and wrap equipment
  • Loads (shipping) and unloads (receiving) trucks
  • Stages product on dock by container
  • Demonstrates how to generate receiving labels and apply to appropriate pallet
  • Uses RF gun to move product into position and Quality check before shipping
  • Counts product accurately and ensures accuracy before put away, moves, and shipping
  • Reads labels and identifies product
  • Commits to learning, living, and promoting Emser Tile culture and values
  • Thrive in a busy environment, highly organized, and goal-oriented
  • Results-driven and customer-focused
  • Knowledge of database and query functions
  • Ability to accurately read and respond to non-verbal communication
  • Utilizes critical thinking, decision making, and listening
  • Employs influence, relationship building, composure, and open communication tactics to build trust with internal and external customers
  • Excellent basic math functions (piece to square foot calculations)
  • Ability to maintain composure in stressful times
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus
