To thrive as a Ceramic Designer, you need strong artistic ability, knowledge of design principles, and proficiency in ceramic techniques, typically supported by a degree in fine arts or design. Familiarity with specialized tools such as pottery wheels, kilns, glaze mixing, and software like CAD or Adobe Illustrator is important. Creativity, attention to detail, and effective communication are valuable soft skills in this field. These abilities enable designers to produce high-quality, innovative ceramic products that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.
