Job Description

-Assist the dentist during a wide range of procedures, including biological and restorative treatments
-Prepare treatment rooms with sterilized instruments and materials according to biological protocols
-Follow strict mercury-safe removal protocols (e.g., SMART protocol)
-Take digital x-rays (with minimal radiation settings and thyroid protection)
-Educate patients on biological dentistry principles and post-op care
-Maintain sterilization and infection control procedures in alignment with OSHA, CDC, and biological dentistry standards
-Handle charting and input of patient records using [Practice Software, e.g., Open Dental]
-Support front office with patient flow, scheduling, and communication when needed
-Ensure patient comfort, safety, and understanding before, during, and after procedures
-Stay current with continuing education in biological and integrative dental practices

Salary Range

Full-time $18 - $40 per hour
